And yet...
Now let's see. This is the first time I have ever heard of this group, and judging from the lack of reviews, I'm probably not the only one. But anyways...this group in many ways resembles many of the other femme metal bands that have risen to relative popularity. Such bands as Nightwish and Epica have something others don't, a dynamic fan-base that spreads. Now, while this band may not have this fan-base, it employs the same basic lineup that other bands use; a female singer accompanied by a male "growler." That's not to say that it is bad, and in my mind, it has yet to get old. So, fans of Nightwish and Epica, try this album out; you may be pleasantly surprised.
AWESOME for both first time Femme/Goth Metal listeners
...and those who are just looking for a new group. You like Nightwish? You'll like Satyrian. You like Metal? You'll like Satyrian. You like alteranative stuff? You'll (You guessed it) like Satyrian. The female vocalist has the chest voice and the head voice perfect for the symphonic and discordant vocals that go into a Goth/Opera/Power metal album. The guitar riffs and drumbeats are freakin' sweet and aren't repetative at all (The downfall of most metal groups) and the songs in general are just plain fun to listen to. If you're an avid listener of Metal or someone who's willing to try something new this here is the album for you.

Why is it that other countries seem to have better music than America? Anyways, this is a great example of goth metal. The instrumentals are amazing and the vocals just as well. I recommend that all new listeners hear Eternitas.
