Album Review
They were edging away from it before, but Evacuate the Dancefloor is Cascada's giant leap away from the vocal trance style that launched their career. Less dreamy and more thumping, the sound here isn't that far from Lady GaGa or Katy Perry's material, but with lyrics that are generally positive and lead singer Natalie Horler remaining effervescent as ever, fans will immediately be able to identify these tracks as the floor-filling act they love. The polished and well-crafted title track will make any pre-club gearing up extra exciting, while the following "Hold On" is a staple of any album from the group: a rousing, motivational anthem. The noisy bits in "Fever" are a surprise, bringing Cascada closer to the electro-house of Benny Benassi and David Guetta, although that's as edgy as it gets. Anyone looking for something "deep" will be disappointed that the heartache numbers — "Everytime I Hear Your Name" and "Why You Had to Leave" — choose danceability over poignancy, but if you need a lift, a hip shake, and your hands in the air, Cascada deliver once again.

Another Great Album....
The new CD from Cascada has done well in the UK, and I ended up getting it off a different sight until it was released here. The album itself is full of the usual strong-beat songs from the group, and has some surprisingly amazing tracks. "Evacuate the Dancefloor" - This song hit #1 in the UK, despite everyone going on about how she copied Lady Gaga (like lots of reviews have said, Cascada started recording first). A good beat and a great album opener. 5/5 "Hold On" - Not bad, but then again not my favorite. It's nice though. 3.5/5 "Everytime I Hear Your Name" - Again, not my favorite, but it is a good song. 4/5 "Ready Or Not" - Very Cascada, with the original beat she usually does with her music. Very predictable, but really nice. 4.5/5 "Fever" - Defiantly was surprised at this track, but in a good way (Mainly because I've never heard her curse before). 5/5 "Hold Your Hands Up" - A nice, ballad song I really like listening to when I need something slow, but not that slow. 4/5 "Breathless" - One of my favorites. It'll probably end up being a maxi-single or something. 5/5 "Dangerous" - A bit of Cascada's original beat in it. I personally love the song, though I know some don't. 5/5 "Why You Had to Leave" - Good and strong. I don't listen to it that often, but it is a good addition to the album. 3.5/5 "What About Me" - I could see this one as a maxi-single. Defiantly. 4/5 "Draw the Line (Yanou's Candlelight Mix)" - In my opinion, it's the best Candlelight. 5/5 If you don't want the whole album, I would recommend "Evacuate the Dancefloor", "Ready or Not", "Breathless", and "Draw the Line". However, what I recommend more is getting the whole album! ;<)
Cascada did it again!
Cascada made an excellent album, AGAIN!! Evacuate the Dancefloor: The most popular album, and a total must-get. 5/5 stars. Hold On: I really like this song, and its really catchy. 5/5 stars. Everytime I hear your name: This song isn't my favorite. Its a mix between ballad and dance pop, which don't go together really good. 3.5/5 stars. Ready or Not: This is totally Cascada music and the most popular song on the album. I like this song, and I think everyone just wants the old stuff. 5/5 stars. Fever: I never heard Cascada swear, but I still think this song isn't meant for them, maybe for Britney. 4/5 stars. Hold your hands up: The best (and only) pop ballad they've ever done. 5/5 stars. Breathless: THE BEST SONG ON THE WHOLE ALBUM!! 10 STARS!! Dangerous: Also typical Cascada, but not my favorite. 4.5/5 stars. Why you had to leave: My least favorite song on the whole album. For me its not attenion grabbing or surprising. 3/5 stars. What about me: pretty good, but not my favorite. 4.5/5 stars. Draw the line: The BEST Candlelight ever! Can't wait for the original! 5/5 stars. Its a good album, but the cover is really iffy for me. Oh well the album is really good!
