what an indie treat!!!
one of my new favorite bands arrah and the ferns have completely won my heart with their banjo's, flutes and smart, sincere lyrics, of course arrah's sweet voice accompany their great and unique sound. this album deserves the attention of anyone who's into good music.
Great American Music!
I host a weekly independent music podcast called The Great American Music Hour (available on iTunes) and have recently discovered the music of Arrah and the Ferns, much to my delight. This is indie rock with a twist; great vocals, imaginative instrumentation, and catchy songwriting. What more could you ask? All in all, this is definitely my definition of Great American Music. Check it out if you get a chance.
I think sweet describes this album perfectly.
It's all so happy and catchy and fun. I'd really recommend this album to any fans of indie folk pop stuff. My favorites are Skylark, Bernadette, and Apple For Evan.
