Unreal!
As a young musician I can't help but idolize this man! The use of every instrument in this record is simple astounding. Lyrically, he is second to no one. I can honestly say I am his number one fan and i appreciate everything he does.

Evening Train is a masterpiece
This is one of the only CDs that I can keep in my player all year long and never get tired of listening to. Rob's instrumentations are profoundly expert, his lyrics deeply incisive, and his songs achingly sculpted. This is the guy who the top producers in the business--Clive Davis and Phil Ramone, call when they need the best musician/arranger anywhere. He's worked with everyone: Tony Bennett, Elton John, Yo-Yo Ma, Lou Reed, Aretha, Ray Charles—how's that for street cred? This album, though, is his own labor of love. A consistently excellent antidote to today's ProTooled pop.
