Sounds Familiar...
Is it just me or does this song sound like a score from the Truman Show? I did some research and it sounds like Peter Glass' "Truman Sleeps." Check it out and see if you don't agree. You'll have to look for it on another site because iTunes doesn't carry it. I like this song, but I've liked it since 1996 when the movie came out. Hmmm.
"Where NBA Happens" song
To those in search of the name of the song on the current NBA TV ads, this is it. So moving. I got chills all up and down my spine when I first heard this song and still do. I was searching online for it for a few days, now I can sleep because I've found it.

I found this song through Noah Kalina's "Everyday" video, but the music will stay with me forever. It has embedded itself in my mind, and also in that special place that makes your chest tighten up and your thoughts turn contemplative. I breathe differently when I listen to this music. From the constant rhythm to the rises and falls of its emotional output, Carly has imbued this precious composition with unerring beauty. Even if this song had cost $10 all alone? I would still have bought it. It's that good. I look forward to more of Carly's work in 'everdays' to come.
