My wife said this was great. Thats what she said so I had to check it out for myself. So I love the music. I would recommend this to anybody who loves music. Keep up the good work Josh.
Funk
I've heard rumors this could be Funk's last studio album. I dearly hope not as this cornucopia of deliciousness made my ears cry for more. His vocals have blossomed alongside his maturing years to finally match the songwriting ability that was always years ahead of his age. There is a good deal of shredding to go along with the melodies Funk has always excelled at. Listen to it several times and make sure to enjoy it in different locations. A long evening drive with a good stereo system will allow the music to swallow you. Immerse yourself in the idea and hope Funk decides to grace us again with future endevears. If not this is an amazing work with which to vanish into the ozone. At the very least try and catch him live during his concerts this fall or spring.
Ear candy perfection in every track!
You know how every pizza chain promises 30 min or less on delivery but it always takes an hour? But by then you are so hungry you don't care you lustfully rip into the cardboard box and devour the whole pie with an unapologietic vigor you didn't realize you could experience alone. That's how great the new Funk album is, you don't care how long it took you just want to lustfully devour it with reckless abandon. If everything in temporary was a pizza it would be a deep dish with layers of subtle nuances not noticable to the untrained ear yet purely blissful to the genius few alive today to understand how forward thinking this album is. In 400 years alongside greats like Beethoven, Lenon, and Beiber Funk will be recognized for his lyrical prowess and honored in a fashion so deserved by his talent.
