Jackopierce particularly excel at rendering finely detailed, sympathetic portraits of women, whether the setting is upbeat (“Into Me,” “Alright By Me”), wistful (“Let Go of Me”), or somewhere in between (“Lonely”). Gliding vocal harmonies and steady guitar power “Finally Free,” “Listen to Me," and “Killin Me,” keeping the focus on the words and melody. Stripped-down or smartly arranged, Jackopierce still hit the sweet spot between folk and pop on Everywhere All the Time.
