This boy DESERVES to make it big!!!
I first saw Lucas this spring when he came to Pittsburgh with Julia Nunes. Had no clue who he was, what he sounded like. From the minute he stepped on stage, I was wowed by his personality and talent. His live loops and creativity are ridiculous. His lyrics made me laugh, cry, think...I was first unsure of how Lucas would be able to pull off the same amaziness in the studio. My doubts were soon shattered with every CD that I've bought. The songs featured on Evolution/Mystery are no different. Each song is amazing, but I must say my favorites are Tumbleweed and Frowny Face Away Message. With great beats and lyrical word choice that rivals Jason Mraz, I will be keeping this one on replay for a while. The only track that I *wish* were on this album is LC's version of "Telephone." Still, I give the CD five stars for being a sick follow up to the Pixelated Path! :D I can't wait to hear more, more, more!
