Refined Excellence

If you enjoyed Disrupting Natures Balance with it's precision guided lyrics and mind numbing flow, then you are in the for the ultimate treat with Exact Science. X has refined his art form to an entirely new level. With a new producer on this album you will immediately notice a different back beat supporting X's exceptional word play. His lyrics only continue to improve and this album seems to expose more of storytelling approach, well rounded leading up to my current favorite One for the Ages which pits God v. the Devil in a war to end all wars.

I think this album is the best example of X's commitment to constantly improve his craft and provide the listener mind twisting rhymes that will have you pressing rewind on the regular.

If you actually care about hip-hop, real hip-hop, then you will download this album and include in your playlist regularly.

Make no mistake

Make no mistake Expertiz comes through with another instant classic. The lyrics are on point and the beats are flat out banging. A most have for anyone who loves Hip Hop

A true banger.

Expertiz is one of my favorite lyricists, so the release of this album has been on my radar for a while. The album does not disappoint. First of all, the production is excellent throughout. The album has a definitive sound and it is head-nod inducing from the first track to the last.

Expertiz has always been a fire-spitter- delivering complex rhymes and witty punchlines with a rapid fire delivery. He still delivers on the high expectations that he has established with his past work, but he is also an emcee that has grown and expanded the limits of his style and content. Ex is an excellent storyteller and some of my favorite tracks on this album are either heartfelt autobiographical joints or cinematic style storytelling. Expertiz is capable of taking his listeners on a journey from the inception of a great story to its end.

Another wrinkle that Ex has added on this album are several collaborative joints that feature his home state of Connecticut's most talented emcees. They all put in work and Ex revels in his role of ringmaster on several of these tracks. The song featuring Asylum Lifetime is a standout on the album and the collaborations between Expertiz and the Rising Sun Quest always bring out the best in both emcees.

If you love hip hop and you respect the tradition of the art form, you will LOVE this album.
