Road Trips and Campfires
A great album for taking on a road trip or just sitting by a campfire. The title track, "Exhausted Alibi", is definitely the hook of the album. However, "Kitty Call" and "Brynn" certainly give it a run for the money. The tranquil track "No Confessions" pleases the occasion when the mood is just right. Another one of my favorites is the high spirited song, "The Great Escape". You'll want to quit your job and head out fishing.
Too Talented.
I saw Keith and his band last night at a saloon in Framingham, MA. Picked up the CD and have been listening to it all day. It's a great follow up to his first album. Great hooks, solid playing, talented writing. A little rock, a little jam, a little reggae, a little country. And the musicians that Keith surrounds himself with are stellar. Justin Slusher is one of the best guitarists I have ever seen. Russ Lawton is a ridiculous drummer, has played and recorded with Trey from Phish among many others during his career. Ken Clark on the B-3 Organ.. he's a legend around these parts. It's a great pick up, you will enjoy the hell out of this album. Young and Old. Too bad iTunes has the album in the wrong spot..
