Great album!

I saw these pieces performed live in concert at Carnegie Hall, and they are just as great here. Kallor is an exceptionally talented pianist, and these works based on the poetry of Dickenson and Yeats are profound and inspiring. The world will be sure to see more of Kallor quite soon. Great work!

Fantastic!

This CD of Gregg Kallor's Dickinson and Yeats songs - brought to life by the wonderful mezzo-soprano Adriana Zabala - made my day! Kallor has his own musical language and thoughtfully sets the text of these poets. Zabala avoids cliché and has the perfect amount of expression in her singing. I listened to this CD multiple times and strongly suspect that Kallor's songs will enjoy a long life in the American Song repertoire. I cannot wait to hear more of his compositions.
