This great concept album comes with a vibrantly global magic-carpet ride thrown in.

This record surprised me with a near-total immersion, in story-poem form, to the senses of these wanderers. Best full-album listen I've had in a good while. Brava, Pats.

magical... just magical!

Cry

This album is great, but especially the track "(I Don't Wanna) Cry". It really makes me do just the opposite.

Also, I heard a live version of "the Most Private Confessions of St. Clair" and it sold me on this album before it was released. Patsy has been creating inspiring music for... decades - wow, really? I think it really has been decades!

The daughter of a Navy man, Patsy Moore was born in Antigua in 1964. Her family moved around frequently when she was a child. Reflecting the wide variety of cultures she has experienced, Moore's music uses African and Caribbean rhythms, folk, soul, Latin, rock, pop and funk. The valedictorian of her high school, she enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Moore performed in a band throughout college, singing, writing songs and playing keyboards.
