Expectations: A Folk Rock Revolution
Wow! I stumbled across this collection while downloading some old familiar songs by Joan Baez and Judy Collins that I hadn't heard for awhile. Truly a folk rock revolution. Great range of styles and subject matter from whimsical, to downtrodden to uplifting. Great voices and instrumentals! Expect the unexpected from this amazing group of artists. More please - folk rock is back!

This album is a wonderful collection of eclectic and unique artists that really capture what music is all about! It's a non-stop musical rollercoaster from the light-hearted, egomaniacal rant of "Leggo My Ego", to the Dylan-esque styling of Luthea Salom's "Beautiful", to the melancholy "Time and Place" by Melissa Moshe, this album has something for everyone. The ethereal "Strange Happenings and Miracles" by Renee Quail is especially beautiful and moving. Buy this album!!!

What a great compilation! (and may I say an amazing deal at $9.99 for 21 tracks?) This folk rock compilation skips the typical, slow singer/guitar act and delivers a melodic rock hour of some of the greatest unheard music to date. Glad I stumbled upon this gem and am delighted to have found more artists to follow!
