A Legend.
Truly one of the best underground emcees in the game and (in my book) one of the best of all time. Unfortunately, quality positive hip hop like this (also see: Theory Hazit, Braille, Kaboose, Lecrae) often gets slept on and crap (David Banner, Flo Rida, etc...I'm not going to use the sterotypical overused "Soulja Boy Argument", as there are plenty of other horrible "rappers" out there that I really don't even have to mention his name) like this is what gets played on the radio. Go figure. If you call yourself a fan of Underground Rap, or REAL Hip Hop, do yourself a favor and click "Buy Album". Even though this song was on his album that was relased last year around this time (Fall time), it was by far my favorite and I'm excited to see the Instrumental and remixed versions, including a radio mix, which is incredibly awesome. Something to hold us over until the next full length project (which will be as stellar has his past two albums) drops. Sweetness. I look forward to hearing more from this guy in the future.
Solid
Ohmega Watts produces quality, solid hip-hop with no apparent touches of weird experimentation. He keeps the formula of hip-hop simple and easy to access. "Eyes and Ears" is a nice song for your ear buds to jam to, reminding us of how well Mr. Watts rocks your stereo.
