Album Review
Immolation's third album, Failures for Gods, follows in Morbid Angel's sinister, hyperactive, sometimes atonal footsteps, although with more than enough differences in their riffs and compositions to keep them from being mere copycats. The group's frequent, technically demanding time and tempo changes keep the listener jarred and off balance, which is exactly the desired effect, even if it makes the album seem rather monotonous to the uninitiated after a while.

This is the most structured album this band ever put out, and has a completely different feel from any of their other albums. Once Ordained may be one of my favorite Death metal songs. This album is assertive, but complicating and really bellows a message; of disgust for the christian philosophy. If you haven't bought any Immolation album, I would start here.

Another Great Record
These guys have done it again. Although Here In After is slightly better and so is Dawn of Posession (Iwhich Itunes does not have), this is still a great record. Again all 8 tracks are worth purchasing so buy it...NOW
