Customer Reviews

Best song writer of a generation....

Through his work with the EFs, and now on this solo project, Sam proves to be one of the best songwriters around today. Sure its not always happy, and at times this borders on a depression fest, but it is magnificent in its sadness. Well worth the $9+ dollar price tag.

Album of the Year

This is absolutely the best Album of 2010 in this humble listeners opinion.. Sam Quinn is a beautifully honest artist, and this album is passing a torch in contemporary Alternative Country music from deep in the heartland. Every song blends into the one before it in a marvelous atmosphere of melancholy that instead of inducing a similar mood elevates you into a joy of understanding the human condition. Bravo mr. Quinn, Bravo!

Must Buy

Yes it is depressing but you can hear the pain in Sam's voice and through the music and lyrics. I also would vote this album of the year!
