Selection Impressive Alone
So the first thing I noticed was the song selection; The covers. I was impressed that they covered songs like "Ordinary People" by John Legend and a standard like "Someone To Watch Over Me". And put them on a soundtrack for a movie that seems to be targeting a young audience like the High School Musicial kids. The kids feature on the sound track are talented with no doubt. Its easy to listen to with the original tracks to the classic covers. I am quiet impressed and even more excited to see the movie. Bottom line: the soundtrack doesn't feel like a bunch of songs trying to sell an album but feels more like a directors and writers vision of what that wanted Fame 2009 to be. Hats off.
A MUST BUY
Asher Book in my mind stole the soundtrack away. He has pure talent. You can also see him in boy band, V Factory. They tastefully re-did "Fame", not ruining the original at all--but only adding a modernized twist to it. It's finally here!!!
I can not wait for the movie to come out. I love Asher Book. If you want to hear more of him check him out with his band V Factory. Can you believe that Naturi Naughton was in 3LW and played lil kim in Natorouis? She is so talented also.
