Fan the Fury
This is an amazing album. Every song stands out and makes an impression. Musically, it's big and bold with a lot of variety, and the vocals are crisp and clean. There's a whole lot of sound here -- solid rock and roll with something to say.
More non stop awesome.
Again. Aloud has bridged the gap between dissonance and warmth. Their call and response and dizzying lability force the listener to ask the question: How have they captured a fury so rich and made it so satisfying?
Best Album I
Every song on this album (except for the intro) is a masterpiece. I love how Aloud creates great hooks and poppy sing along sections without losing the kickass rocking edge to their sound. My favorite song from the album is probably The Last Time, but Murder Will Out, When the ants attack the Queen, Fan the Fury, and Sometimes I Feel like a Vampire all stand out as well. As a whole, I consider this album to be Aloud's best work, but 3 of the songs from their previous album are still my favorites. Aloud is currently be my favorite band, and if you like soaring vocals, intelligent lyrics, precise guitar work, and solid drums&bass, you couldn't go wrong buying Fan the Fury.
