Jazz Blues...Elegance with an Edge
It is really hard to describe the dynamics of his music. Jazz, blues, soul, & taste. Nice melody lines, blues dominated, sometimes gut-ripping solos and occasionally humorous, back-yard lyrics. He can be light, heavy, or just relaxing fun, and sometimes all in the same song. If you’ve wanted to listen to something while you’re hanging out in a smokey lounge with scantily clad women drinking happy hour martini’s, or if you could imagine leaving Manhattan on a weekend road trip that would take you through Chicago, New Orleans, some obscure west coast town and include a stop in Austin, then this is the album! The only reason I didn't give it a full 5 *'s is because honestly, I was just a little disappointed with the wrap-up of the Weather solo. And after that great review. LOL!
