A Dream Come True

When I first came across Josh Pyke, I absolutely fell in love with his music. His guitar playing is extremely pure and clear and compliments his vocals. His music is so harmonious and gorgeous, and his lyrics are so wonderful. I would be surprised if he doesn't meet international success. He has both the calm, soothing sound of Jack Johnson and the cool indie sound of Sparklehorse. I suggest buying it. Fans of The Shins would love this album too, especially Private Education and Goldmines.

I spent two months in Australia this past summer, and the best thing I brought back was an appreciation for Josh Pyke. The lyrics are both clever and moving and the melodies are catchy but far from ordinary. What more could you want from an album? I can't wait for his next one to come out!

Terrific!

Middle Of The Hill is an extraordinary song. Others would have made a whole album out of all the emotion and experiences in this song. It doesn't get any better.
