Brilliant, undiscovered artist
Christa Couture's music touches the soul. I first heard her two years ago playing a small club in Vancouver, and as someone who frequents local-musician clubs, this was something different. I'm used to jaded wanna be rock stars in these venues, but Christa was different. Why she hasn't hit the 'big time" yet, I can't figure out. She has uplifilting songs and songs that touch the soul. Day 4 brings a tear to my eye - the first time I heard it was live, and it was one of those epiphany moments in music for me. Jennifer Gray is a great story about a girl from "The Drive" who falls in love, and it too stays with you for a long time. Her new CD isn't on iTunes yet, but I was able to buy it recently at one of her gigs, and her musical reach and inspiration continues. I highly recommend this CD.
