A must have!
Amazing talent who brings a new, edgier style to pop latino!
Fico (self-titled)
Fico begins his self-titled EP strongly with “Un Buen Dia.” Singing with such ease, the lyrics seem to roll right off his tongue as he draws the listener in with his smooth vocals and fitting musical blend on each song. A self-taught guitar player, each guitar feature throughout the disc is strong, blending well with every word Fico sings. “Un Buen Dia” is an uplifting track, begging the listener to continue with him on his musical journey. Though just four songs, Fico has much to offer his listeners. “Dejame En Paz” switches gears a bit from opening track, “Un Buen Dia,” with banjo accompaniment giving it almost a breezy, relaxed vibe despite the song tile, translated to “Leave Me in Peace.” However, the listener can sense a quick change of emotion as the speed increases and the horn features overpower the vocals, as if in defiant protest. Fitting percussion soon enters as Fico’s voice crescendos all the while, going along well with the tale in the song. “Nada Sera Igual” is a ballad that portrays Fico’s emotional side. As he passionately sings each lyric, you can’t help but feel for the story revealed in the song of a man who has been cheated on. Not your average ballad, the music picks up mid-song with an incredibly strong electric guitar feature helping to break up the song a bit all while keeping the listener intrigued. “Nunca Pense” ends the EP on a high note. Perhaps the liveliest track on the album, the song adds to the variation on Fico’s debut. A solid effort musically and vocally, Fico is sure to be around for quite some time. Annie Reuter 2008-12-27

I love the music & lyrics. My favorite is "Dejame en Paz", it's very catchy! I think he has a great style. He is a promising artist... Keep it up ;)
