great news for people who like good music
I got big phony's ep a few weeks ago and i love it. been listening to it for a few weeks now and it's one of the few albums that I can listen to from start to finish. introspective and real, i'm feeling the music. great sound and excellent production.
I love Big Phony
A couple months ago on a night with nothing to do, I decided to go down to the lower east side of nyc to check out some live music. I ended up at one of my favorite acoustic venues, The Living Room, and happened to stumble across Big Phony and became immediately enamored with his music. Truly heartfelt songs with beautiful melodies - remniscent of great singer-songwriters such as Elliott Smith, Aimee Mann, Sufjan Stevens, Iron & Wine, etc. 'Everything-Always' has quickly become one of my all time favorites; 'Dying Unaware' is just simply gorgeous. I really believe we'll see big things from Big Phony in the near future. Keep an ear out!
Big Phony is amazing!
I heard Big Phony on the radio, and live in Concert in LA. I purchased this (and his other Album "Smoking Kills") and have been enjoying his music ever since! The passion and depth of his songs are intense. Be prepared for an amazing musical journey - especially (IMO) his best song, "Parable". Keep up the amazing work Big Phony! Enjoy!
