Unique Electronic Sound with 80s & 90s Influences
Wow! Glad I found this! I've been trying to find out more about them since I bought the album. There are some familiar influences here and I keep getting a taste of some of my favourite groups each time I listen. Depeche Mode, Yazoo [Yaz - US], Erasure, Yello... Saint Etienne! There's a great mixture here from the more poppy 'You Belong' and 'On & On' to that darker, raw metallic sound of analog synths in 'Seen the Light'. Buy the album - no point in trying to select a favourite! (Okay, it's 'The Other Side')
The real deal for 80s analog synthpop lovers
If you love 80's analog synthpop and are looking some recent bands look no further - Northern Kind is the real deal. So many great tracks on this album don't just download a couple songs - get the whole thing. I die and go to synthpop heaven evertime I hear "Seen The Light".
