A true master artist

Mr McLaughlin exhibits what one would expect from an accomplished musical technician, perfection of delivery. Beyond that, he does so without ignoring the fact that his craft is not just technical, it's artistic. Such artistic brilliance also shines bright in his work. One of the best musical works I know.

Masterful and Inspiring

Not just an amazing artist but an amazing man. Mastering the guitar as he did is amazing enough but having to relearn the guitar with his left hand because of focal dystonia is even more incredible. It isn't just his music that is inspiring It is his dedication and love of the art itself. It certainly is displayed in this album. If you're new to Billy, Helm's Place and Stromseeker are a great place to start. After that, you'll be buying the whole album.
