Album Review
Over three years since the Ananda Project's last full-length album, the lengthy, seamlessly eclectic Fire Flower neatly encapsulates the smooth, groove-oriented chillout vibe endemic to Chris Brann's vision. Moving easily from micro-genre to micro-genre between tracks, with Terrance Downs and Heather Johnson, as always, handling the lion's share of the vocals, Fire Flower never sounds like a mishmash of currently fashionable ideas. Brann has developed not only a trademark sound but also a subtly effective set of alterations that keeps the Ananda Project sounding fresh, and Fire Flower is as good as anything the producer has yet created. Although the album works beautifully as a whole, the particular standouts are first single "Into the Sunrise," a showcase for Downs that is likely the closest thing to a genuine pop single the Ananda Project has yet managed, and the ambient closer "Remember When."

GET INTO THE FIRE FLOWER!!!!
This album is a great compliation for any location that breathes beauty. Example: Sipping on a Mojito along the beach front of Ibiza. DEE-LECTIBLE, DEE-FIRE!!!! lol My favorite track is "Let Love Fly" a romantic gem that should be on a soundtrack. Just an amazing work of art!!! Other favs are the stalkeresque "Stalk You" (I keep thinking Girl 6 for some reason), "Fireworks" (its 4th of July all over again), and "Where The Music Takes You". This is surely an album you've got to have. I LIVE...YOU'LL LIVE. Just let the album play and blossom through your ear drums!!!!!

Terrance Downs....AKA Brown (the new Black) Is the male vocalist on Firworks.....Excellent execution....look out for him

the Anada Project is smooth and the grooves just flow. I love the chords and arrangements. The music is right on with me.
