Best Old School Christian Rock
I can't believe itunes actually had these guys, a christian AC/DC i grew up to these guys
Some good, some bad
I was excited to see so many songs from their second album, "Peace Treaty," but was so disappointed the tracts had been played around with. Many of these new ones don't have the same energy as the origninal songs. The new ending on Rolling Thunder is especially cheezy. The guitar needlings in the background of Gotta Let Go and Getch Ya siphon off the intensity of the songs. The new guitar solo on Peer Pressure is misplaced and out of sync. I Take Power is still a kickin' tune, and You Got Me is another highlight on the album. For those new to X-Sinner, this is a not a bad album, infusing southern-rock, AC/DC and a positive message, but if you get a chance to listen to the originals, you'll find them to be much better.
Peace Treaty minus 1
this is basically a revamped Peace Treaty minus 1 song... the guitars are heavier and more to their live sound... it is really good, but if you get the chance pick up the original version Peace Treaty too... for fans of AC/DC and Cinderella...
