Album Review
Firehouse's self-titled debut was a slick, polished collection of pop-metal. While louder numbers like "Don't Treat Me Bad" sounded good on the radio, the true strength of the record was the group's knack for power ballads like the Top 10 hit "Love of a Lifetime." Firehouse had trouble coming up with a consistent set of high-quality material throughout their debut, but when they landed on a power ballad, they never sounded less than fine.

One of the best
Its really to bad that Firehouse came to late to enjoy the hair metal golden age, because they really could of been big hits like Poison if only they had come earlier. Some of the songs are to slow and the lyrics are a little much. But "Don't Treat Me Bad" alone is enough to make this one of my favorite CDs. It has to be one of my top 5 favorite songs of all time, if anything buy "Don't Treat Me Bad".
Firehouse = The Last Good Rock Band
Now, people might pigeonhole firehouse as simply a "hair band" but they were so much more talented. First of all their first album came out in not only 1990 (which I thought was the last year for good time rock n' roll) but 1991, when we all thought party metal was dead. The thing that made firehouse so special, was that they were able to release their material in 91, even with the likes of bands like nirvana around, and still score top 10 hits. Not to mention they even were voted Best Hard Rock/Heavy Metal band at the 91 grammy's beating nirvana, which was unheard of, proving that they were not a hair band, but a good time rock n' roll band. Obvious highlights of this amazing album are Love of a Lifetime, Don't Treat Me Bad, Oughta be a law, and, well, every other track on the album! Amazing band to bad sucky nirvana had to take hold during the 90's
Firehouse
"All she Wrote" is a very good song. " Rock on the Radio" is also a good song. But "All she wrote" beats it by a long shot. Many can agree with me.
