rise records is ev il
I think rise has a thing for making all their bands sound the same and over produced. I kind of enjoyed the first ep wife beater, but now this sounds just like all the other digitally enhance, auto tuned, immature, scene music of the lable. The only band somewhet worth following from rise is miss may i and even their last album got super auto tuned. I recomend rise hire some new producers or just let the bands do what they want, cuz the 15 year old scene kids they are counting on buying this stuff eventually grow up, and eventually the scene changes.

i forgot i was listening to it halfway through, then was shocked back to life after i heard Polar Bear Club come on right after "Dear Dad" finished in my itunes library. gotta be honest nothing gripped me here...extremely generic.
APIU sure has a thing about raping and other abusive treatment...they STILL stayed on that topic for the vast majority of the album even after thoroughly covering the topic in "Wife Beater" (i mean come on even the title covers it.)
Is it the worst hardcore/metal album ive heard this year?? absolutely not. but definitely not the best either :/
