Fantastic 2008 release
Deborah is back with an awesome new track "Fit right in", the followup to last years big dance hit "Two Times Blue". Two times blue was a #5 dance hit on Billboards Club Play Charts for 3 weeks straight in late 2007. Fit right is a wonderful taste of electronica dance, with very edgy tongue in cheek lyrics that you'll be sure to love. I would also say if you like this track, that Deborah's last album "Necessary Evil' has similiar tracks on it, most notably "Dirty and Deep". Deborah also scored another dance hit last year with the single, NEW YORK NEW YORK that she did with producer Moby. All in all, all are great buys here on Itunes. Don't wait, download now.
An Audacious Must-Buy
Fit Right In is crafted with some interesting, cutting-edge electronica, not the least of which is the occasional otherworldly treatment of Debbie's lead vocals. But what's most impressive is the B-side track, Heat of the Moment, featuring rap by Mecca Dawn. The tribal intro, underlying background and exit tracks are awesome, especially when overlaid by Mecca's beat-perfect rap and Debbie's eery, haunted, almost wanton vocals. Deborah Harry is an exceptional individual whose thirst for artistic exploration truly defines her as a musical treasure and cynosure for the modern era.
