A Pinnacle of Tech-Death
These Danish folk know how to play their instruments to say the least. Seemingly manic, yet controlled in every fashion, the guitars can at times be very complex, while at other times be very chuggy. Iniquity have some massive breakdowns, and the one in "Surgical Orb" is a textbook example. The instruments all mesh together perfectly, and are never out of rhythm. Definitive technical death metal from one of the more underrated stalwarts of the genre.
This is some classic...
....stuff, hard to believe that this release is over 10 years old now.None the less when your looking for pure death metal it has all the ingredients.It has lots of tempo changes ranging from blasting parts,fast doubles and very slow doom parts bringing to mind Black Sabbath(yes even Black Sabbath has some influence in Death Metal how about that) it even has a little groove in grind thrown in which makes this even a more versatile beast.This is by far one of my favorite Death Metal releases of all time and after listening to it maybe you will consider it to R.I.P Iniquity \m/
