FLAGS OF OUR FATHERS
Clint Eastwood is a great composer. He is a very multi-talented awesome dude. He's one of my all time heroes. You should by the whole album...but the Clint Eastwood songs are probably the best. Go see this amazingly brilliant masterpiece in theaters...by far the best film so far this year. Buy this soundtrack now...
Every moment of this film is captured beautifully on the soundtrack
I saw a promo screening of the film earlier this week, and I have to say, not only does the score work extremely well with the film, but all the songs just represent the period so well. And it's great to hear such a grand military score alongside emotional, moving yet minimal orchestrations in addition to the timeless Classical pieces.
An excellent soundtrack
A minimalist score. After having seen the film, I could not help but thinking of Clint's main theme. The trumpet and the piano are beautiful on this one. Also, all the jazz tunes from the period are nice additions to a worthy soundtrack. Clint Eastwood is not only a great director, but a very talented composer. It is nice to finally hear a simple score without the overwhelming orchestration of most contemporary war movies. Beautiful and simple.
