Jennifer Parkin does it again
Jennifer Parkin a.k.a. Ayria deserves much more credit than she has recieved. Whether you're new to electronic, an old fan, or just stumbled upon this page this is a CD that everyone should have in their music collection. From gothic beats like "My Revenge on the World" and "Pink Dress" to slower songs such as "St. Edith" Ayria has hit the nail square on the head with her second album. Her amazing lyrics, unique voice, and blend of techno beats and alternative rock make her an artist you don't want to pass up. There's something on this album for everyone, and it never dissapoints.
Sub-par for some listeners.
I had heard great things about Ayria, and when I was looking to add some new songs to my iPod, she flicked into my mind. Though, after listening to her music, I have to say that I was disappointed. Fans coming from an Emilie Autumn/Angelspit/Kamelot background (or another Industrial/symphonic metal/symphonic industrial background) will not find much to identify with here. Its not to say that Ayria is bad, just not what I had in mind, and definately not what I was looking for.
woah this album rocks
I wasn't really into electronica before, but my friend told me to listen to this cd and now I love it! I recommend this album to anyone.
