Originality is finally here

So many bands sound the same and/or write about the same things over and over again. It's so hard to be original in the world of music but Conditions does it. Refusing to write about partying and hooking up, these guys bring a refreshing twist that rock music has needed for a long time. With lyrics that will punch a hole through your chest and jab your heart chased by riffs and beats you can't get out of your head, Conditions has it right where so many others fail. This is music I've waited for for a long time: it has substance. It will make you use that mushy thing rolling around in your skull and you won't be able to help but say, "Yes, that's exactly how *I* feel!" Fluorescent Youth will make you feel ALIVE where other music leaves you asking, "That's it?" Conditions will not disappoint your need for REAL lyrics, hardcore ROCK and most of all- heartfelt TRUTH.

Condition’s new album hits the sweet spot when it comes to aggressive alternative rock filling the void for Cauterize fans. ‘Fluorescent Youth’ tends to play it safe, but in doing so also succeeds at providing a consistent and enjoyable experience from start to finish. To be relevant a band either needs to be doing something new and different or nearly perfect; ‘Fluorescent Youth’ is nearly perfect.

Formed in late 2006, Conditions assembled their lineup from the ashes of several Virginia-based emo groups, including Race the Sun, Motion Picture Demise, and Scarlet. The band set up shop in Richmond and, several months after its formation, decamped to Baltimore to record demo material with producer Paul Leavitt.
