LMNO + Georgia = fOnk

LMNO's second LP of 2010 teams him up with Georgia Anne Muldrow who has worked with Erykah Badu, Mos Def and Madlib, to name a few. Georgia's beats and LMNO's flow go incredibly well together. I really see this duo getting better and better the more they work together because their sounds are so unique and original. The album is short but sweet, leaving me wanting more. Definitely cop "Psychomicrocosmic", "Plant Seeds" and "It's True" feat. Declaime (dope!). A must have hip-hop/fOnk album, period.

Northern Lights

I love the cover of this cd, the northern lights pic is amazing! Plus, LMNO is such an amazing artist--positive and can flow. Gerogia brings some fonky production to this. Track #4 Us Against Us is the best beat and overall track on the cd. I know that LMNO is releasing, I think 10 cd's in 10 months, pick this one up though; such a head-nodder.

Good beats

I really wanted to like this album. The beats are hot and good effort on the formulas of the word play — yet lyrics comes off a little cheesy.

Born James Kelly, rapper LMNO grew up in Long Beach, CA, as part of the surf and skate scene. There was also a thriving underground hip-hop scene in southern California, which inspired the budding musician to begin crafting his own demo tapes. The hard work paid off, eventually netting LMNO a verse on "B.F. Sound Check," a track from Circle of Power's 1993 self-titled album.
