This is the version of "For the Kids" that John Rich sang on the finale of Celebrity Apprentice. Spare arrangement and acoustic guitar but nonetheless powerful and moving. John added special lyrics "we live to give so all the world may hear" which is the motto of The Starkey Hearing Foundation, the charity that Marlee Matlin was playing for on the show.
