PARTIAL ALBUM?!?!?! WHY???
I don't give the album 1 star; I give itunes 1 star, because the original album, as opposed to the *partial album*, rocked! Why are PARTIAL ALBUMS even made? Who wants to listen to 3 quarters of an album, when you can listen to the whole darned thing? I'm a frusterated customer, because I had the original before it was stolen, and absolutely great covers are denied us fans. WHY? Thus, Itunes: I will be purchasing my music elsewhere. You have thoroughly dissappointed me for the last time. I've lost complete faith in you, Itunes. Limewire it is, then. Oh, and um, good luck selling those Partial Albums. Boy, I tell ya, they're sellin' like hotcakes. Oy Vey! ~A completly dissatisfied long time customer
Sounds Rushed
You look at the names of the bands on this tribute and it looks interesting. However it seems like all the musicians met at the same party and decided to do a tribute album in the same night. Only 2 covers stand out and one of them isn't included on itunes(The Cure). Everything Counts by MBM is done rather well, but thats about it.
OK.
First of all, yes, this isn't the entire CD. There are several tracks left off this album. But, I disagree with the other reviewers. IMO, the best track off this album is Failure's cover of "Enjoy The Silence". Also, someone else mentioned the lack of Rammstein's cover of "Stripped". If you can find a copy of it, I'd recommend the Swedish band Kent's version of "Stripped". If I were buying this off of iTunes, I'd probably only buy a few select tracks.
