Re-recordings
Once again, this compilation does not contain original recordings. Anyone who likes it has never heard the original recordings.
MANY RE-RECORDINGS - BEWARE
Although a few of these songs are the 'Original Hit' versions, many are re-recordings (maybe even 'cover' by another singer). If it's not the hit, it's difficult to determine exactly who is singing. If you're looking for a particular song, search around a bit more. All of the songs on this album are availale elsewhere in their 'Hit' versions. The thing that bothers me most is that (fairly soon) those of us who grew up listening to this music will be dead - and, therefore will be no longer available to identify the Original 'HIT' versions. Perhaps that's what the folks who run iTunes are counting on. After we're gone, the 'crap' versions will prevail. And those younger listeners who never heard the 'Hit' version might say something like '...why was THAT song ever a hit? Those old dudes must have been tone-deaf or something!!'
cara mia
Jay black is the best, His album is great. and his live show is worth seeing at any price.
