The Funniest Soundtrack to a Musical Ever!
This album is a precious gem!!! Forbidden Broadway - Special Victims Unit is the funniest soundtrack one can possibly buy from on iTunes! The entire album is filled with spoofs that sound almost exactly the same as the original, even though all the songs are accompanied only by the piano. The cast of Forbidden Broadway also contains amazing vocalists who do impeccable spoofs of stars such as Harvey Fierstein and Hugh Jackman on "Welcome to the Tonys," a song that is laugh out load hilarious!!! The top hit off this album for iTunes is "Wickeder," for good reason. This track has two great vocalists to play Kristen Chenoweth and Idina Menzel. The first time I played "Wickeder" for my friend (a huge "Wicked" fan) she was stunned at how much alike the vocalists on "Forbidden Broadway" sounded like the stars they were spoofing. And if that's not amazing enough, this album has such a versatile cast meaning that the same singer that does Kristen Chenoweth also sings an impeccable performance of Julie Andrews and Bernadette Peters! This album is truly spectacular and a must for any fan of Broadway musicals!!! Enjoy
MUST BUY CD!
I am a huge Broadway fan. This show will be back in New York on June 9th because it is currently in San Diego touring. I already have a ticket for July 1st. You Must buy this CD, or if you have a favortie Musical, just buy the song. For Instance if you love Wicked, they buy the song "Wickeder". It's so funny. This CD should be literally mandatory for all Broadway fans! I laughed so hard my stomach hurt for 45 minutes. When you're having a bad day, just pop in your headphones and turn on Forbidden Broadway. Trust me, its hilarious!

I love Forbidden Broadway, and this album is one of the reasons why. Almost every song will make you laugh out loud. I am amazed with the witty lyrics and how well they can mimick the original stars. If you are not a fan of broadway, this is not the CD for you. If you are, this album is to musical theatre to what "Noises Off" is to actors.
