Album Review
A pair of brother acts combined forces to form Jodeci, a singing group with one foot in the future and the other squarely in the past. Dalvin and Devante Swing DeGrate teamed with JoJo and K-Ci Hailey for a debut album that mixed vintage soul singing with new jack production and bravado. But it wasn't the hip-hop-flavored songs that earned them popularity; instead, urban contemporary audiences embraced the love tunes "Come and Talk to Me" and the title track, signaling the beginnings of a move away from new jack swing that became a full-fledged retreat.

What happened to groups??
by Oceans22All you see now is 6 pack abs solo artists with absolutely no talent. Or they have a lot of talent & no guidance. The 90's was definitely the ver last decade of real R&B & definitely the finest example of Hip Hop with an R&B swing.
Right From the Start
by SaullyThe moment I first heard "Forever My Lady", I was addicted to Jodeci. I kept on downloading all of my favorite songs I heard from them and listened to them everyday.
BEST GROUP TO DATE
by DiagnosticluvThis is by far the BEST GROUP EVER. This was and still is my favorite album of all time. I had the cassette and used it soo much it messed up. Those songs got me through some good times just care free and singing along. My favorite off the album is I'm still waiting. I used to rewind that song soooo much but it was so underrated. I used to have the hugest crush on K-ci when all the girls where drooling over Devante. K-ci was my man. I liked his style and swagg and that voice is just a voice clearly from heaven. Jojo has a voice from heaven too those brothers can blow. Dalvin and Devonte added the icing on the cake with the instrument, writing and producting etc.... Clearly they were a HUGE asset to this band and thier run. I am praying so hard for Jodeci and hoping they get it together for a clean comeback. They can just sing these songs and don't have to make new material that is just how good their old stuff is now 17 years later and this is all in my ipod. I can't feel the music today only a select few so I go back to the old school. THe 90's were the best yrs of my life and Jodeci is partly respondle. GOD BLESS YOU JODECI and COME BACK.
