Like really?
I'm sorry but this is not the FTSK I fell In love with back in 07. The sound they had back then had such a unique thing about it, but now some of their new material has just turned out to be very generic and a but cliche. "The weekend" kind of foreshadowed this happening. It came off as if their whole goal was to write catchy songs with no true feeling behind. I understand that now they're followers are 15 year old kids with no intelligence on the music they made at first. I know some of these songs are great, but it's just not them! I guess that is what happens when you begin touring with bands that are somewhat sellouts (good Charlotte, bowling for soup) I'm not bashing FTSK at all really because I love them, but I'm just disappointed.
FTSK has done it again!
They're back and better than ever before! This album is so much better than The Weekend: Friday by a long shot! Even though the weekend series fell through, this new album brings FTSK back with a vengence!
Forever the Sickest Kids - Not Bad at All
underdog alma mater was a good album and the weekend: friday wasn't half-bad either. they went with a pop direction for a while with those "nerf" commercials, trying to get mainstream, but came back with this album. forever the sickest kids' self-titled album is definitely a step up from the weekend, but not quite as good as underdog. FTSK add more punk to this record than the last and i'm pretty pleased with it. "I guess you can say things are getting pretty serious" and "life of the party" are favorites already, and so is "forever girl." each song is catchy, but these are definitely standouts on the album. "like" if you agree.
