Tony steps it up
I bought this not really expecting much, knowing that John Feldmann has been the brains behind Mest since Wasting Time. To my knowledge, Feldy had nothing to do with this EP. I was so pleasantly surprised when I heard this, and I haven't gone a day without listening to it at least a few times. The production is brilliant, and the recording/mixing is even more brilliant. The sound is incredible. Tony's voice is stronger than ever, and his songwriting has taken a giant leap since Photographs. These songs are very diverse. The best cut in my opinion is "My Mother Said." Being the massive Mest fan that I am, I was listening to KFK demos (actually at the time it was A Permanent Holiday) back in 2006/2007 when Tony first started posting them. I remember the first demo of "My Mother Said" from all those years ago, and hearing what a powerhouse of a song it has become is really impressive. I have to admit that when it was 2009 and it had been nearly 5 years since we'd heard anything new from Tony, I thought that nothing would ever come from this band. But this EP is so promising, I can't imagine they don't find some level of real success. If you have $6 on your account, buy this immediately. If you only want a song or two, try "My Mother Said" and "The Only Ones." The melody in the chorus of the latter is epic. Enjoy!
Tony Lovato Does it again!!
Tony Lovato does it again, formally of the band Mest. The chapter starts here with his new endever "Kisses For Kings" this new 6 song ep "Forget to Remember" is a awesome taste of some killer tracks with a taste of mest with a new twist and i think its in the right direction. Tony Lovato's new band has went into a new direction and his creative song writing ability has reached new levels with a new mix and fresh sound with lyrics that anyone in todays society can relate too. i can can say this is a great album. i cant get enough of it and im looking forward to more music from "Kisses for Kings" in the near future. When its all said and done i think this ep "Forget to remember" will be impossible to forget.

Been waiting what seems forever for the EP to be released! Been listening to it on their myspace page for awhile now. Worth every damn penny and great album guys! Hope that we see more of you in the near future. K4K ROCKS! check out Ignore The End my favorite song by far. Kinda reminds me of the last album Mest had out Photographs which is probably one of my most favorite albums of all time between that and Papa Roach Infest.
