Second just as good as the first one...

Sean Malone is gone, but the new bass player is just as skilled (although the bass doesn’t seem as pronounced as in their previous release). Reinert, who is their studio drummer, once again has outdone himself (this man is a god – pick up Cynic or find Death “Human”). There is a new vocalist, with a bit deeper voice, but equally as appealing as Danishta’s. Album sounds "harder" than its predecessor (more double bass drumming and heavier guitars), but it’s just as superb.

2 drummers

Most people overlook the fact that there are 2 drummers on this album. Giann Rubio did half the tracks on this album, and has just recorded with Left Brain as well as recording an EP with Blue for Sin. Most people don't give credit where it's due, and generallize the entire album to being done by Sean Reinert. Anyways, great work by all on this album; ripping guitars, and funk influenced bass lines. Amazing instrumental work guys!

Really odd theme

I don't quite understand the worldly theme introduced in the first and last tracks. The other songs sound pretty good despite the fact that most of them kinda sound the same. If you really like this album, try listening to Indukti's "S.U.S.A.R.".

Come 1997, Dobles relocated to Miami, Florida, where he recruited his sister, vocalist Danishta Rivero, and guitarist Charlie Ekendahl, and a few years (and demos) later, the legendary rhythm section of progressive death metal pioneers Cynic, bassist Sean Malone...
