Gui-TAR DE FORCE!!!!!
Yeah, sure. Reid Genauer writes great songs. They're insidiously good. Darn near perfect. But we would be remiss if we stopped there. Assembly of Dust is a rock band. And this fact shines through loud and clear on their latest live album. Adam Terrell is the force behind this madness and his chops show breadth and depth. Stand out takes include a different point of view on the Some Assembly Required tune - Borrowed Feet. This version will have listeners and fans chanting for this rendition on their upcoming spring tour. Zero to the Skin as the opener is a nice reminder of how AOD's tunesmanship is truly unrivlaed. The longer takes on the album like Songbeard and Cabin John also stay amazingly fresh at their duration. Songbeard in particular has a nice musical interplay at the fore. On this album listeners will come for the songs and stay for the playing!
