Awesome!
This EP from Gas Can Music is a great debut. Automatic Static's energy is intense and perfect for anyone that enjoys punchy, in your face rock and roll. The album grabs your attention wonderfully by the first track, Drag me Down which has a very eerie feel, but manages to captivate you and hold your interest for wanting more and more. The catchy choruses and melodies throughout the album are fantastic, although it's a long track, it will get stuck in your head all day.
Their album then continues onward and eventually gets to the track "Clique", which is their standout track on this album. After hearing Clique, it was on repeat on my iTunes for at least a week or two, much like the majority of the tracks on this album. In fact, after hearing this song, I immediately thought how perfect the songs would be for Sons of Anarchy, or a very intense scene in any movie for that matter. The song is filled with energy and intensity, and leaves you wanting more. From "Clique", the album moves forward with it's fast paced guitar, melodic riffs, and tight musical arrangements into a straight 4 / 4 song entitled "Pedal Down". Zac Diebels of Automatic Static described this song as something "Tom Petty would write if he tried to write a hard core song." I honestly could not of said it better myself.
Do yourself a favor and purchase this album, it's a great EP and left me wanting more of Automatic Static. If you love hard rock, punchy guitar, and in your face music, this album will do it for you while managing to leave you wanting more, similar to the way a good TV series leaves you hanging after every episode. Hopefully we will see more of this band, and I personally can't wait for some more tunes by Automatic Static.

Definitely a must hear. I have been blasting there album too many times to count. If you are looking for a new artist to check out definitely check out Automatic Static!! Can;t wait to see them live!
