One of the last "True" soul singers in our time
I have had the privelige of actually sitting in on a performance that this awesome musician has delivered. I must say it was one of the best times I have ever had. His voice catches you off guard with it's deep soulful raspy gruffness. You know every song is a piece of his heart. One of the few downloads that is genuinely worth in today's forums of music. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
A Novelty
I, like many others, was first introduced to Sandbloom during one of his live performances - this time in Philly, two years ago. He was at a spoken word spot, and when he first came on stage, my friends and I wrote him off as another gimmicky artist. However, from the first note played, he blew us away!! We all brought a copy of his album right affter his set. This man is amazing, fresh, soulful, funky, bluesy all rolled into one beautiful product, and the album is nothing short of classic. I STRONGLY recommend this album.
Sandbloom! All Mighty!
Sandbloom... gives it to you raw! He performed numerous times at Soulstice in Long Beach, CA with just his guitar and his book of tunes. Powerful baritone vocals, drawn out early seventies Stevie Wonderish melodies and most importantly well thought out lyrical stories. Grab All of them and see him live for yourself!
