Customer Reviews

Why is there no review on this?

I accidentally stubled upon this album, searching for something else, but what a wonderful stumble it was! Amelie's voice is sweet and haunting, like a smooth combination of Joanna Newsom and Call and Response's Simone Rubi, that lilts over her acoustic instrumentation. Furthermore, her odd lyrics do not seem to be simply tacked on. Rather, they punctuate the music, assembling to augment the emotive feel of each song. This combination of elements makes for an excellent listen, and one of my only complaints is that this album is only a 5-song EP. But, the mystery to me is, how on earth has such an artist gone unmentioned in the blooming neo-folk wave? She certainly has it all--and does it better than a lot of others that have gathered attention. Certainly perplexing. Hopefully someone else will fall into this album, and if you happen to be such an individual, please purchase this work.

what the ($*#@ are u people smoking!?!

umm just wondering how in ur right mind u could ever give crap like this a five. one time i stepped on my dogs tail and the noise that came out of its mouth was better than this. if u bought any of this music u have a serious condition and need to seek Imediate help before u hurt someone. amelie needs to go into a gutter and not come back out forever.

Monsters

Oh goodness, airman. You're ridiculous- I couldn't take anyone so negative seriously at all. I like the song "Monsters" a lot. It was actually listed as a top song on NPR. Do you have those qualifications airman?
