Pure Talent

I have been a very long time fan of Tina and had the opportunity to meet with her twice for two perfectly intimate performances in Seattle. Tina will be a very nice addition to anyone’s collection. Tracks to take special note: Track 5 - If I'd Sinned. I think I have played this one about 500 times on the old ipod. Track 7 - Her Secret This one has played at least 501 times. I discovered this song on the bullet train in Germany from Nuremburg to Frankfurt, nothing but Tina Dico. God that was a good day. The best of luck to you Tina, and as always - Seattle is still dancing for you. Michael - Seattle

Not sure how I'm feeling..

She has a good voice and her songs sound nice.. but the material is really lacking something. I don't know how many times I would actually listen to this album.. There isn't any particular song that stands out, nothing catchy or ultra original.. Still, it's a unique addition to your collection.

Wow! What Happened to My Girl!!!

Well this was just terribly disappointing. After the power of One, Warm Sand, The City, etc.etc., I just wonder what happened, particularly the poor recording quality in comparison to previous efforts. Her voice sounds completely different, like a cheezy Tracy Chapman impression or something. The songs are fairly unmemorable as well; and I'm a BIG fan. I saw her live in 2006 and she was astonishingly powerful and trilled her notes like a master chanteuse. Hope this doesn't spell doom for a burgeoning artist. I know you have to grow as an artist, but don't give up your strengths...I have to sign off now, its just too sad...

Genre: Pop

Years Active: '00s

With heavenly vocals and a poignant writing style, singer/songwriter Tina Dico has topped the charts repeatedly in her native Denmark, caught the ear of Zero 7, and earned a Danish Grammy for Best Songwriter. As she was growing up, her father was a hi-fi aficionado and bought music based on the recording quality, not the genre or artistic merit. This introduced young Tina to a variety of styles, and while she gravitated toward Leonard...
