Introducing Fun D-M-C
From the get-go (Swan Fever) the mood is set: a breathe of musical fresh air from the P. It's difficult to not be in a good mood when you listen to this record. Truly pioneering their style, PUTS show obvious signs of maturity in their sound, but don't be fooled, they don't compromise anything. They are still as funky-fresh as ever. Thes One has really improved his flow, but the real star is Double K. However, if the beat ain't hitting you, you know it ain't the P, and since Thes One is the beatmaker supreme, maybe he's the star? It's safe to say the PUTS are living legends, and its even safer to embrace FUN DMC.

If you use the deffinition of rap to describe this rap duo, lyrically I suppose these guys aren't that bad. But I was raised in a different generation of hip hop. Don't for one second think I mean I like Soulja Boy or Lil Wayne or any of that tv garbage now of days. I'm just saying that this style of rap music is a little bit old for my taste. I like that more underground memphis tennessee horrorcore dirty south crunk style of rap music, the more up to pace kind of rap. If you agree, then click YES!!!
