heavy and unique
These guys have a crazy sound. Its a black/sludge type sound that really grinds on you. The drumming is really good and the guys vocals are crazy. His growls are awesome. If you like black metal or grind this is for you. This has seriously become one of my favorite albums. Hasnt left the rotation in months.
Progressive sans Mainstream Metal
Clearly there is a motion of form. Impetus "Black Opium" denouement is "View to a Death in the Morning". If the tracks are judged from a 'radio head' mind-set then one song is lessor to another. The work must betaken in full score, then it adds up. The sum of the tracks are greater than any individual track in the albums stead.
Brutal
The instrumentals combine thrash, speed, black, and power metal together. The vocals aren't too light and aren't as heavy as bands like Job For A Cowboy. Exmortem finds the perfect balance between the lightness and darkness of metal. A very original sound.
